OPP are investigating truck fire on the 401.
It happened in the in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 near Highway 77 on July 31st, 2020 at approximately 12:30am.
The lone occupant driver was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries related to smoke inhalation.
A partial lane closure of the westbound lanes for approximately four hours was necessary to complete the investigation and remove the vehicle. The highway has since reopened.
