July marks Independent Retailer Month and how lucky are we to have so many indie retailers, artisans and unique shopping areas across Windsor Essex? Independent Retailers are our neighbours and fellow community members who may be running the local market where we can buy fresh grown produce or handcrafting furniture and housewares to adorn our homes.
By shopping locally and supporting those in our community, we can work together to create sustainability and strengthen our local economy. Though we encourage shopping independent and small retailers year-round, this month is a great reminder to celebrate those who help sustain our cites, towns and communities.
