Windsor City Hall will be reopening by appointment only.

Mayor Drew Dilkens announced the building will reopen on July 6th.

City services reopening by appointment only will include licencing, gaming, marriage licences, counter service for taxation support, and counter service for permit applications. The City’s location at 1266 McDougall Avenue will also reopen on July 6th for in-person payment of parking fees for permits and passes.

The City will also start offering City-officiated outdoor wedding ceremonies at City Hall starting July 6th with a limit of 10 attendees.

“Re-opening municipal facilities is certainly going to be more challenging than it was to shut them down,” said Dilkens. “We need to recall and train staff on new health and safety protocols; prepare and reconfigure some facilities and ensure adequate PPE is on hand.”
