Michael Sullivan of Windsor matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the February 1, 2020 LOTTO 6/49 draw to win $100,000.
The 67-year old retired auto worker used the Ticket Checker following the draw. “I could only see some zeros and a one. I didn’t believe I had won – I thought it was a mistake,” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque.
Sullivan, a widower, plans to take a trip to Florida in the near future. “I’m looking forward to escaping winter and enjoying the nice weather,” he smiled. “I might just go home today, pack a bag and head south this week!”
“Although I buy tickets regularly, I never expected to win,” he said.
The winning ticket was purchased at Mac’s on Forest Glade Drive in Windsor.
