The World’s Funnest Run Is Back This May

The World’s Funnest Run in support of Jumpstart for Kids returns this May.

The run is timed and jam-packed with fun-filled events throughout the three laps around Lakewood Park. It does not matter if you walk, run, or crawl your way to the finish line as long as you are having a blast while you do it! This event offers a 5K fun run for kids and adults, as well as a 1K dash for kids.

“It’s a great event for families, we really enjoy putting it on every year. All proceeds go to Jumpstart for Kids, which is an awesome local organization that helps kids stay active in sports. Join us for a day of fun, bring your families, put together your perfect superhero costume, and support a great cause by walking or running for Jumpstart. Make sure to hang around after the race for snacks, awards, and fun activities for the kids,” said Damon Winney, Broker of Record at Jump Realty and event sponsor.

Jumpstart for Kids charity is all about promoting a healthy lifestyle and providing for our community. This foundation provides children and families in financial need the opportunity for the kids to participate in community sports. Proceeds for this race will be given to Jumpstart to provide for the children and families in our local community.

The run takes place on Sunday, May 31st at 9am. Entry fee for adults is $25 and $15 for kids.
