Construction at Tecumseh Town Hall will mean some changes to front line services will be implemented starting on January 20th, 2020.
The service counters for Building and Planning, Public Works, Clerks and Finance have been moved to Council Chambers off McNorton Street. Anyone seeking in-person, front line support is directed to the north side of the building beginning on Monday. For those wishing to drop off paperwork or tax payments, a mail drop is also located at this entrance.
“Crews have been working hard in the last three weeks to get the project moving,” said Gary McNamara, Mayor of Tecumseh. “This included creating a temporary entrance and relocating our front line staff to Council Chambers. Next week we will see the removal of the original front lobby and customer service counter of the building which will make way for the improvements and new service areas for residents. We continue to appreciate the patience and understanding in our community as we undergo these improvements.”
