Grant Gives Early Years Centre A Renovated Community Kitchen

A grant of $117,000 from Ontario Trillium Foundation helped give Early Years Centre a renovated community kitchen.
“The impact of this grant will be tremendous. Our kitchen is a hub of activity and these renovations will greatly enhance the programs we offer, particularly in the EarlyON Centre,” said Barb Brown, Executive Director, Connections Early Years Family Centre.
The grant helped the centre renovate their 50 year old kitchen and and add in accessibility upgrades including widening of doorways and adding tables and countertops that comply with AODA standards.
