Windsor’s Poet Laureate And Poet Laureate Emeritus Welcome Special Guest Poets On Tuesday

City of Windsor Poet Laureate Mary Ann Mulhern and Poet Laureate Emeritus Marty Gervais are hosting four poets laureate from across Canada as part of  Poetry at the Manor – Volume 7 Tuesday evening.

The guest poets are A.F. Moritz (Toronto), Steven Ross Smith (Banff), Victoria Butler (Barrie) and Micheline Maylor (Calgary).  The night also includes a special reading by Windsor’s Youth Poet Laureate Samantha Badaoa.

It takes place at Willistead Manor from 7pm to 9pm with doors opening at 6:30pm.

The event is free to the public, and light refreshments will be served.

The event is first-come, first-seated and is typically standing-room-only by the time the poets get started.

In addition to public readings and discussion, there will be book signings and sales courtesy of Biblioasis.
