Tecumseh To Host Third Annual Youth Career Fair

The Town of Tecumseh Youth Advisory Committee is hosting their third annual Youth Career Fair for all area Secondary School students and their families on Thursday, November 7th.

“There are so many emerging technologies and innovative careers that students may not know about or have information on what skills are required,” said Gary McNamara, Mayor of Tecumseh. “Our Youth Advisory Committee has developed this event specifically aimed at their peers to help understand different career paths and how to get there. We encourage students and their families to join us on November 7th to gain a better understanding of the many different career choices and opportunities available.”

The Youth Career Fair provides an opportunity for youth to meet and interact with various sectors of employment, learn about education for employment opportunities and how to develop the necessary skills to obtain employment in their chosen field. Attendees will also be able to network with organizations and businesses in the community to learn about skills development and future employment at a time when University and College applications are underway.

It takes place at l’Essor High School from 10am to 6pm.
