LaSalle Commemorates History At Rendez-Vous Voyageur Festival This Weekend

A unique experience in LaSalle this weekend will explorer the 1600-1700’s.

Taking place at Gil Maure Park, the Rendez-Vous Voyageur Festival will feature drumming, jigging and music on stage, re-enactments, interactive displays and activities, voyageur encampments, ancient lacrosse demonstrations, traditional cuisine, unique vendors and merchants and a pryro-musical fireworks show.

Interested in some tasty treats? Tantalize your taste buds with both traditional cuisine and festival favourites including Road Chef, Twigg’s Rigg, Sizzlers Hawaiian Ice, What’s Poppin Popcorn Factory, Lemonicious, Kona Ice and Sisters Twisted Funnel Cakes, Corn-on-cob and French flapjacks. Shop the RV Le Marche for goodies to take home from Christine’s Bake Shop, Sinclair Honeybees, Raymont’s Berries, Petite Cote Produce, Hoover’s Maple Syrup and North Shore Farms Maple Syrup.

It takes place on Friday, September 20th from 10am to 4pm and on Saturday, September 21st from 10am to 9pm.
