Body Recovered From Lake Erie

Police are investigating after a body was pulled from Lake Erie.
OPP say around 7pm on September 22, 2019 they responded to the report of a body floating in the water near the beach in the 400 block of Erie Street South in Leamington.
The body was recovered and the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A post-mortem investigation has been scheduled. The investigation is ongoing but has been deemed non suspicious.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
