The sixth annual Kingsville Folk Music Festival takes place this weekend at Lakeside Park.

The three day ticketed, family friendly, outdoor music celebration has established itself as one of Southwest Ontario’s summer destination spots for fans and lovers of music ranging from Blues to Bluegrass, Celtic to Country, Roots and Indie.

Multiple Juno award winner Serena Ryder will headline this year’s Festival and also on the marquis will be Grammy-nominated duo The Milk Carton Kids, Danny Michel, Traditionally Wound and many other award-winning musical acts.

In addition to a great weekend of music, the Festival features culinary delights in a food village that features local ma and pa restaurants, a Celebrate Family area for children, an artisan market place promoting handcrafted Canadian originals, hands-on activities and workshops, Pelee Island wines and Grove craft beer. There are also some great children’s performers.
