LaSalle Outdoor Pool Remains Closed

The LaSalle Outdoor Pool will remain closed due to flooding in the area.

The town says that due to overland flooding from the Detroit River, Front Road and the streets west of Front Road are experiencing standing water during rainfall events and/or in cases of easterly winds. The parking lots at Front Road Park and Gil Maure Park are affected by the standing water.

Motorists are reminded to drive with caution on Front Road as water levels may continue to fluctuate with wind shifts. Currently, the curb lane in each direction on Front Road around Kenwood Avenue is closed due to standing water.

The Riverdance Community Centre is also closed.

The situation will be reassessed on Monday, July 15th.
