Flooding Keeps LaSalle Outdoor Pool Closed

The LaSalle Outdoor Pool will remain closed on Wednesday, July 10th and Thursday, July 11th due to flooding in the area. All lessons and programs are cancelled.
The situation will be reassessed on Thursday.
Due to overland flooding from the Detroit River, Front Road and the streets west of Front Road are experiencing standing water during rainfall events and/or in cases of easterly winds.
Front Road was closed between Martin Lane and Laurier Drive for several hours on July 7th and July 8th due to overland flooding. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution on Front Road as water levels may continue to fluctuate with wind shifts.
Currently, the curb lane in each direction on Front Road around Kenwood Avenue. has been closed due to standing water.
