Trails In LaSalle Closed After Flooding

The Town of LaSalle says that areas in the town along the Detroit River, River Canard and Turkey Creek are experiencing some overland flooding

The LaSalle Trail located off Matchette Road heading into Vince Marcotte Park is closed due to flooding.  Thw town also says to  proceed with caution if driving near the LaSalle Boat Ramp.

With more rain in the forecast on the already wet ground conditions, it will likely cause higher than normal runoff volumes causing ponding/standing water conditions and will exacerbate areas that were previously flooded.
