The second round of public engagement for Walk Wheel Windsor, the City’s new Active Transportation Master Plan gets underway Saturday.
The Plan will set the foundation for developing well-connected, attractive active transportation networks that are safe, convenient and user-friendly, no matter what mode of transportation people use. It will include a vision along with policies and actions to guide the development of safe and attractive active transportation options for people of all ages and abilities.
Over the next four weeks, the City will be gathering feedback from residents on the strategies and actions being considered in the draft plan, as well as concepts being considered for the bicycle, sidewalk and transit amenity networks.
As part of this second round of public engagement, three community roadshows will be held at the following locations:
- Saturday, November 17th from 10am to 2pm at the Capri Pizzeria Recreation
- Monday, November 19th from 4pm to 8pm at the Windsor International Aquatic Centre
- Tuesday, November 20th from 5pm to 8pm at the Forest Glade Recreation Centrec
