PHOTOS: Fire Destroys Row Houses On Argyle Road

Windsor Firefighters battled a fire in a six-unit row house complex in the 1200 block of Argyle most of Saturday.

It broke out just after 6am in one of the units and quickly spread into the common attic above all six units.

Firefighters were unable to enter the structure due to the heavy fire found on arrival and have had to fight it from the outside.

The fire was declared out around 5pm.

Investigators from the OFM, WFRS and a structural engineer arrived Sunday afternoon to start the investigation.

A preliminary damage estimate is pegged at $1.2 million dollars. No injuries are reported.
