Downtown Windsor Launches Gift Card Program

The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association has launched a new gift card program.

Intended to stimulate and encourage business in the city centre, the downtown Windsor gift card is unique in that it can be redeemed at over 60 independently owned and operated businesses in the city’s heart.

“There’s no other card that offers as much flexibility and selection as the Downtown Windsor Gift Card,” says DWBIA Chair Larry Horwitz. “It’s a way to support local business owners who offer products and services unique to the downtown core. It also provides the recipient the opportunity to discover all that downtown Windsor has to offer.”

Participating stores can be found on downtownwindsor.ca/giftcard. There are nearly a dozen categories, including apparel, health and wellness, food and restaurants, and specialty services.

Gift cards can be purchased in any amount between $25 to $500, and are available at the Downtown Windsor BIA office at 419 Pelissier Street.  The cards can also be purchased online at downtownwindsor.cardfront.net.
