LaSale fire is hosting an open house to celebrate fire prevention at their headquarters at 1900 Normandy Street on Thursday, November 1st from 6pm to 8pm, Friday, November 2nd from 6pm to 8pm and Saturday, November 3rd from 10am to 2pm.

Stop in to meet LaSalle firefighters and staff, and see what the fire hall looks like. Interactive displays for all ages including fire truck rides, hose drag, use a fire extinguisher, see what happens in a stovetop fire and try on some firefighter gear. Check out our fire trucks and the Phoenix, our fire department boat.

There will be lots of information available about fire safety and prevention. Some of our community partners will be joining us including the Red Cross, Essex County Library (Thursday and Saturday), Essex-Windsor EMS (Saturday) and Essex County’s Emergency Management Coordinator (Thursday and Saturday).
