A hotel is coming to Amherstburg.
NOR-BUILT Construction will construct the new hotel at the corner of Simcoe and Meloche, across the street from the Libro Credit Union Centre.
NOR-BUILT is collaborating with Choice Hotels to build Quality Inn and Suites Amherstburg, a 60-room hotel with a conference and meeting centre space for up to 120 people. It will also feature an indoor swimming pool. The hotel, which will span six acres of land.
“I have been working on bringing a quality, family-friendly, all-purpose hotel to the Town of Amherstburg for years,” says NOR-BUILT president Norbert Bolger. “In close and effective partnership with Mayor DiCarlo and Town Administration, I feel the time has come to move forward with this project in providing accommodations to our visitors, families, and the conference and tournament market.”
The hotel is expected to employ 20 people and the property will also have room for further development of a number of restaurants and retail space.
