Pedestrian Struck In Leamington

A pedestrian was struck in Leamington Wednesday evening.

OPP say that it happened around 6:45pm on Mersea Road 6 near County Road 77.

They say that an eastbound minivan struck a pedestrian who was walking on Mersea Road 6.  The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.

The driver of the minivan was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing.
