An early morning shooting in Amherstburg is under investigation.
Police say it happened around 2:25am in the 100 block of Sandwich Street North.
A 31-year-old Amherstburg man was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
He was later reported in stable condition recovering in a Detroit area Hospital.
Roads in the area are now open.
