A crash between a car and a motorcycle closed a section of Highway 3 for several hours Tuesday.
OPP say that it happened around 7:30am on Highway 3 near Walker Road.
A BMW motorcycle travelling eastbound on Highway 3 struck a wild turkey causing the driver to lose control subsequently striking an International tractor-trailer travelling in the oncoming westbound lane.
The driver of the motorcycle sustained life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
