Environment Canada says that a low pressure area will bring significant precipitation to Southern Ontario on Tuesday. Latest indications suggest that freezing rain is possible early Tuesday before changing over to a soaking rain as milder air pays a brief visit.
Poor travelling conditions are expected, especially in areas that receive freezing precipitation.
There remains some uncertainty as to the exact track of the low, which will affect how much freezing rain or rain will fall in a particular location.
