Improvements To Parks Planned In 2017 Budget

Several city parks could see investment as part of the 2017 budget.
Cullen Field at Mic Mac Park could see $500,000 in lighting upgrades.
Lakeshore Woods Park could see $250,000 in improvements while Mitchell Park could see $250,000 spent on pathways, sports court, lights and shelter.
The extension of the Little River Road off road multi-use trail from Clover Avenue to Florence Avenue at Aspen Lake is also planned at a cost of $300,000.
The Central Riverfront trail from the Ambassador Bridge to Elm will be re-paved at a cost of $200,000.
City Council will make the final decision at their budget meeting on Monday, January 23rd, 2017.
