In order for construction of the new EMS base on Dougall, the current station will be required to re-locate, within close proximity to the current location.
Essex Windsor EMS is proposing that a unit be rented at 2470 Dougall Avenue, in a shopping plaza with Drive Test, Ministry of Corrections and a Subway.
The usable space is 1,300 square feet, with a single bay garage, crew lounge area, office space, washroom facilities and storage area. The property has controlled entrances both to the front and rear and is monitored by the Landlord’s video monitoring system.
The monthly lease payment is $2,500.
It is expected that EMS will relocated to the new location starting in January, until the completion of the new Dougall base expected in September.
