Home Sales Down 6% In October

Residential house sales were down for the month of October compared to one year ago according to the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors.
Last month, 470 homes were sold, compared with 500 in October 2015.
It was in East Windsor where most homes changed hands with 130 sold, followed by Central/Downtown with 78, and South Windsor saw 57 homes sold.
In the county, Lakeshore was the most popular area with 50 houses sold, LaSalle saw 42 and Kingsville/Leamington 32.
Overall for 2016 home sales are up 10.67% with 5,911 sold compared to year to date in 2015 of 5,344.
