A 19-year-old male University of Windsor student was killed in a fire in the 200 block of Rankin Avenue.
Fire crews were called to the home around 4:20am Wednesday morning and found heavy smoke and fire on arrival.
It took fire crews over an hour to bring it under control.
Five others in the home at the time of the fire were sent to hospital.
The Ontario Fire Marshal arrived on scene at 2pm to assist in the investigation.
