Tunnel Bar-B-Q is coming back to Windsor after announcing a partnership with Armando’s Pizza.
“What’s better than Windsor pizza and Windsor ribs,” says TBQ owner Helena Ventrella.
John Pizzo, owner of Armando’s and Xaco Taco, says authentic TBQ ribs and chicken will be available “within a few weeks” at the Armando’s location on Cabana Road.
The restaurant will feature a one page menu at Armando’s to begin with, and the brand is expected to slowly roll out to include a takeout and delivery location on Cabana Road, and expansion to other Armando’s locations on Walker Road and in Leamington.
Ventrella said TBQ wouldn’t be opening a stand-alone restaurant location as many had speculated.
The takeout location on Cabana however is expected to maintain much of the original TBQ signage and memorabilia.
