Tecumseh Waste Collection Update

Due to the tornado activity in the Central Avenue, North Service Road and Deziel Drive Area, waste collection vehicles were unable to leave the WDS facilities.

Garbage and recycling collection for Tecumseh was cancelled for Thursday, August 25th, 2016. Essex Windsor Solid Waste Recycle Collection will resume for Area 1 (former Sandwich South) on Friday, August 26th, 2016 followed by Area 2 (former St. Clair Beach and Tecumseh) when crews are finished.

All recycling will be picked up by Saturday, August 27th, 2016.
