Leo Gadoury from Tecumseh is celebrating after winning $53,249.60 from the August 3rd LOTTO 6/49 draw. He matched five numbers plus the bonus number to win a secondary prize.
“I ended up checking my ticket three times in the ticket checker before I was sure I had a Big Winner,” shared Leo while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto where he picked up his winnings. “Even after the retailer validated the ticket, I had a hard time believing my ticket was worth thousands of dollars!”
The windfall came at a great time for Leo. “I recently retired for the second time, so this win will help with the future. I plan to invest most of the win, pay off my car, and share with family,” he concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased at a Shoppers Drug Mart on Tecumseh Road in Windsor.
