The 2016 Glow Ride, a ride that benefits the local non-profit organization Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation, took off today evening at the Riverside Sportsmen’s Club. Cyclists rode a 7.5 km ride on the Ganatchio Trail and around the Riverside area, and kids also enjoyed a shorter 3km ride.
The Glow Ride is a ride purely for fun and charity, encouraging individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels to come and enjoy themselves while doing it for a good cause. Cyclists decorated their bikes and their own outfits with glow sticks, lights, and anything that was bright to light up the evening.
