Assumption Church Open To The Public Sunday And Monday

Windsor’s historic Assumption Church will host an open house in celebration of the Feast of the Assumption.

The church will be open on Sunday, August 14th from 2pm to 5pm, and on Monday, August 15th from 12noon until 6pm.

Everyone is welcome to stop by for a visit and some time for prayer and reflection.

Assumption Church was opened in 1845 and served as the principal worship site for the parish until it was closed in November 2014 due to needed repairs.

Currently, parishioners worship at the adjoining Rosary Chapel throughout the week and at the parish’s McEwan Campus/Holy Name of Mary Church on weekends.
