The 22nd annual Ontario Wine Awards were handed out last week and two local wineries did well.
This year, with 467 wine submissions from 71 wineries Colchester Ridge Estate Winery won an bronze the category of George Brown College Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts for their 2014 Gewurztraminer.
Pelee Island won gold in the ASL Print FX Best Label Design Award and silver for the Cornerstone Insurance Brokers Ltd. Pinot Noir Award for their 2013 Pinot Noir.
