Local Home Sales Up For May

Residential house sales were up for the month of May compared to one year ago according to the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors.

Last month, 698 homes were sold, compared with 588 in May 2015.

It was in Central Windsor where most homes changed hands with 121 sold, followed by South Windsor with 111, and East Windsor saw 102 homes sold.

In the county, Lakeshore was the most popular area with 89 houses sold, LaSalle saw 82 and Leamington had 70.
