There is a new name for Gordon McGregor Public School.
The school will close in June 2016 and the student body will move to the former Percy P. McCallum Public School site. As a result of this move, a naming committee was formed to select a name for the school.
The committee held two meetings and decided to focus on two names, Ford City Public School and Gordon McGregor Public School.
At the board meeting Tuesday evening, Trustees voted to call the school Ford City Public School.
