LaSalle Strawberry Festival Announces Family Friendly Entertainment

The LaSalle Strawberry Festival has announced an all new line-up of family friendly entertainment for 2016.
The West Coast Lumberjack Show is action-packed, non-stop entertainment featuring a full spectrum of lumberjack events including log rolling and tree climbing. They have been featured on numerous television shows including The Bachelor Canada, Canada’s Got Talent and The Amazing Race Australia. Martin Short, Canada’s Got Talent judge describes them as “Quintessentially British Columbian!”. The West Coast Lumberjack Show will take place several times throughout the festival.
On Sunday, its Minute to Win It Game Show presented by The Game Show Guy. Festival participants will be called upon to compete in 60 second strawberry challenges for a chance to win great prizes! The annual Strawberry Eating Contest will also be included. The Minute to Win It show takes place on Sunday, June 12th at 12:30pm.
Magical Entertainer Brad Toulouse will perform wondrous magic and illusion on Sunday, June 12th at 2pm.
This 29th LaSalle Strawberry Festival’s 29th year takes place June 9th to 12th at Gil Maure Park.
Admission is $5 per person at the gate (children under 6 and seniors over 65 are free), or weekend passes are $12 per person.
Weekend passes will be available for purchase beginning on Monday, May 16th at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex.
