The Essex Community Policing Committee is a group of citizens from the Municipality of Essex, which formed a committee to participate in various community events in Essex.
Through fundraising and the generosity of businesses in Essex and Harrow, the committee was able to make a $10,000 donation to the new Windsor-Essex Ronald McDonald House.
The presentation was made late last week and the donation will be used to support the daily operation of the facility.
