Do you see what I see?
Take a look at me. Please, take a really good look. Every time I see a reflection of myself in the mirror all I see is an extremely adorable, goofy, silly and fun-loving guy but, for some reason, I haven’t found my perfect paw-milly yet. How come no one sees what I do?
My name is Rusty and, if I do say so myself, I have a personality that can’t be beat! Even though I’m still a puppy (11 months), I have learned to mind my manners and have respect for everyone I meet, and I do —kids, adults, cats, other dogs—but I’m wondering why I am still being overlooked.
Okay, I admit that I like to “march to the beat of my own drum,” but I can still hear your drum beating. And, if you prefer to strum to the tune of your own guitar, I am certainly happy to adapt to a lifestyle that works for both of us. My high energy and need for guidance is part of the entire package when adopting a young buck like me so I really need to adopt someone who is very active and willing to let me be that goofy dog that makes you laugh, and laugh, and laugh!
All I really want to see when I look in the mirror is the reflection of the paw-mily that has chosen to love and care for me, hold my hands and stay close fur-ever. Now do you what what I see?
If you are the Ying to Rusty’s Yang and would like to offer him a purr-manent, fun-loving home (which MUSThave a fully fenced-in yard), he is available for adoption through Second Chance Animal Rescue. Rusty’s adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccines, deworming, flea treatment, neuter and microchip. Wow, that’s an amazing deal. So, if you would like to meet Rusty, please fill out an adoption application at www.scarescue.org.
