An odour in Tecumseh kept emergency crews busy Saturday afternoon.
OPP and Tecumseh Fire were called to the neighbourhood around St. Marks Road around 4:30pm after residents reported an unknown odour in the air.
Investigation revealed that someone had poured an amount of gasoline in the sewer causing the odour.
Several residents were asked to ventilate their homes as the odour had seeped into their homes from their sewers.
Roads in the area were closed for a short period of time, but have since reopened.
