Working smoke alarms alerted residents of a fire late Friday evening.
It started in the basement of the home in the 100 block Victoria Street in Harrow around 11:30pm.
Firefighters managed to bring it under control quickly.
Investigators say the cause was accidental, and damage is estimated at $60,000.
There were no injuries.
