The winter of 2015-16 may go down as one of the greenest in Windsor’s history, there were still Snow Angels ready to help when needed. .
This year the city says that thirty individuals signed up to volunteer for the program, and many of those volunteers agreed to take on multiple addresses resulting in more than fifty-four residents receiving assistance.
All registered volunteers were entered into a draw to win a free iPad or one of five full-year passes to Windsor’s new Adventure Bay Family Water Park Presented by WFCU Credit Union.
ln recognition of their efforts, a random draw was conducted with the following volunteers selected: Jaysen Sylvestre (iPad winner), and Jason Currie, William Perry, Therese Morand, Sanjit Singh and Wayne Pawluk each winning a full year membership to Adventure Bay.
