Local Custom Car Shop Wins Big At Detroit’s Autorama

Detroit’s 64th Annual Mequiars Autorama Custom Car Show took place at Cobo Hall from February 26th to 28th, 2016 and Xcentrick Autosports out of Oldcastle registered five vehicles for this show, and won several awards.
Four of the vehicles that were entered for judging in this show received awards and one vehicle received two awards.
Those awards are:
- 1st in Class – 1933/34 Altered Coupe with a 1934 Ford owned by Tony Peressini of Toronto
- Best Engine – 1934 Ford owned by Tony Peressini of Toronto
- 3rd in Class – Production Road Racer – 1967 Cobra owned by Bill Darmon of St. Joachim
- 4th in Class – Production Road Racer – 1966 Cobra owned by Chris June of Chatham
- 4th in Class – Convertible Mustang – 1968 Mustang owned by Rob Labelle of Toronto
