A unique art project in LaSalle was shown off on Thursday.
The Town of LaSalle’s Fleet and Facilities Division partnered with teachers and students from Sandwich Secondary School and St. Thomas of Villanova High School to design and paint a two snow plow blades.
The snow plows will be used on the Public Works Department pick-up trucks. Those trucks will mainly plow the parking lots at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex, in and around Sandwich Secondary School and at the LaSalle Civic Centre. They will be highly visible to the public when in use.
The Town of LaSalle provided the poly insert snow plow blades, paints and brushes to the two high schools. Merlo Paints assisted in the selection of the paints.
