12 local organizations across Windsor and Essex County will receive grants from the WindsorEssex Community Foundation to support their community projects.

A total of $50,000 was handed out.   These grants come from the annual earnings of the Foundation’s unrestricted endowment funds.

The organizations who received grants are ACCESS County Community Support Services, Skate Amherstburg, Windsor Essex County Community Garden Collective, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor-Essex, Windsor Classic Chorale, Windsor/Essex Humane Society, the Windsor Youth Centre, Family Services Windsor-Essex, the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, the Jack Miner Migratory Bird Foundation, Doors Open Windsor, and the Greater Windsor Track & Field Club.
