There are a couple of University of Windsor connections in Prime Minister Trudeau’s new cabinet.
University of Windsor alumnus Navdeep Bains (’01 MBA), (MP Mississauga-Malton), was named to cabinet as Innovation, Science and Economic Development Minister.
Trudeau also named Dr. Kirsty Duncan (MP Etobicoke North) as Science Minister. Duncan taught meteorology, climatology, and climate change at UWindsor from 1993 to 2000.
