Amherstburg Community Services is looking to ensure that the older residents of the community are not forgotten this time of year.
Organizers are hosting their third annual “stuff-a-stocking for a senior” collecting homemade cards with a holiday message, toiletries, winter wear, treats and chocolate. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
Donations can be dropped off their office on 179 Victoria Street South between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4pm on Fridays.
You can also call their office at 519-736-5471 and they will arrange for a bus to come by and pick up your donation.
Donations will be accepted until December 11th, 2015.
