Windsor-Essex Manufacturers Open Their Doors To Over 300 Students

Over 300 students from local schools will tour manufacturing facilities in Windsor-Essex on Thursday, as part of Manufacturing Day activities organized by the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation, Workforce WindsorEssex, the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board, the Greater Essex County District School Board, and Conseil scolaire catholique Providence.
The facilities include A. V. Gauge & Fixture Inc., Anchor Danly, Briadco Tool & Mold,the Electromac Group, Laval International, Radix Inc., Reko International Group And Valiant Training And Development Centre.
“Manufacturing Day helps to communicate the importance this sector plays in the local economy as we continue to strengthen and diversify the economy through advanced manufacturing,” said Rakesh Naidu, CEO (Interim) WindsorEssex Economic Development.
