Amherstburg has been awarded 5 Blooms and a Special Recognition for Floral Displays by Communities in Bloom.

This past July, the town was visited by judges who evaluated the tows parks and gardens based on a criteria that included heritage conservation, environmental action, tidiness, urban forestry, landscape and floral displays.
