Windsor Fire says that an early morning fire in forest Glade was intentionally set.

Fire crews were called to 9830 Osborne around 6:30am and found heavy smoke and fire coming from the home.

A dog had to be rescued from the house by firefighters.

It took several hours to bring it under control.

Investigators say the fire started at front door exterior.

Damage is set at $220,000 to the house and $80,000 to the contents.

There were no injuries.
